Job Summary
VP, Prime Brokerage Cash & Controls leads a high-performing function delivering cash wire processing, payments, and controls across equity and fixed income trading. Responsible for setting guardrails, driving automation and STP, coaching talent, managing governance with senior stakeholders, and partnering with Technology, Operations, Product, Legal, and Risk to accelerate outcomes. The role emphasizes ownership of payment controls, remediation of non-STP issues, design and implementation of key controls across the trade lifecycle, and leadership in capacity planning, cross-functional alignment, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant experience or equivalent in payments or controls
- Automation technologies experience
- Advanced knowledge of market products, procedures, and regulations
- Leadership in high-stakes environments; ownership through to resolution
- Time management and prioritization
- FINRA licensing: SIE + Series 99 (or commitment to obtain)
- Data analysis and storytelling with data; translate insights for senior stakeholders
- Strong executive communication; presentations to senior management
