Job Summary
Provide individual, group, and family therapy while serving as a liaison with families and outpatient providers. Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management, and participate in discharge and aftercare planning. Deliver therapeutic meal support by modeling a healthy relationship with food, ensuring safe, empathetic, and affirming care for clients based on their intersecting identities. Support virtual patient care and telehealth services as needed. Schedule runs Tuesday through Saturday. Monte Nido Houston is a residential treatment program exclusively for adults seeking treatment for eating and exercise disorders, focusing on the restoration of physiological and nutritional balance.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in clinical counseling or related discipline, at minimum
- State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful
- Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices
