Job Summary
Provide individual and group Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) treatment to patients ages 13-65 in partial hospitalization, residential, and intensive outpatient settings. Deliver crisis intervention services including suicide risk assessment, safety plan creation, and de-escalation of dysregulated patients. Create, update, and implement behavioral treatment plans while utilizing Electronic Medical Records for clinical documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment planning, progress assessment, and discharge summaries. Facilitate family involvement in care and join the DBT Consultation Team. Support mental health technicians to ensure a safe, supervised milieu space. Adhere to Washington State mandated reporting, HIPAA policies, and company ethics standards. Work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Masters in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related therapy field
- Washington State provisional license (LICSWA, LMHCA, LMFTA,) or license-eligible if out-of-state
- Minimum one year (1) experience providing individual, group, and/or family therapy from a behavioral orientation
- Crisis management experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and the ability to use various software programs
- Must be able to successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background check (Federal and state)
- Experience and literacy with Electronic Medical Records systems medical practice software
- Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends & holidays as needed
- Valid WA state driver's license
- Successfully pass THIRA's Driver Assessment
- Ability to transport patients in company vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- Washington State Independent Licensure (PhD, PsyD, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and/or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) training and experience
- Experience delivering therapy to eating disorder and mood disorder patients
- Experience or familiarity with KipuEMR applications
