Job Summary
The Primary Therapist role involves conducting individual, group, and family therapy for adults, children, and adolescents, developing individualized treatment plans, completing comprehensive assessments, coordinating with an interdisciplinary treatment team, and contributing to treatment planning and documentation. Responsibilities include creating treatment, wellness, aftercare, and discharge plans; delivering biopsychosocial and suicide risk assessments; attending team meetings; and providing guidance to less experienced clinicians as needed. The position is a Full Time role in Plano, Texas, with a Monday–Friday schedule, and requires a graduate degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field and an appropriate state license or licensure track. Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related (required)
- Fully licensed with appropriate state licensing board or in an associate/intern phase of licensure or what is required by the state to practice individual therapy (required)
- Has carried significant individual and/or family caseload for at least 2 years with documented success (for II)
- Has obtained and maintains an independent mental health license as required by state to practice individual therapy (required)
- Has obtained and maintains a full mental health license as required by state (required)
- Experience with individual and/or family therapy (required)
