Primary Teacher - Cape Elementary School

Plan a program of study that meets individual student needs, establish curriculum objectives, and create a classroom environment conducive to learning. Guide the learning process toward curriculum goals by employing appropriate instructional methods and regularly assessing student accomplishments. Diagnose learning strengths and weaknesses, counsel with colleagues and parents, and assist administration in implementing policies governing student conduct. Supervise support personnel and volunteers, utilize appropriate technology, and maintain accurate records and reports as required by law. Establish a secure testing environment and recognize indicators of student distress or abuse to take appropriate action. Perform Medicaid administrative claims activities and actively support school improvement initiatives. Adhere to the Code of Ethics of the Education Profession in Florida.
