Job Summary
Primary Systems Analyst responsible for Level 2 production support of Charles River IMS across hosted and non-hosted clients. Duties include owning and monitoring nightly/daily batch jobs, configuring and maintaining interfaces for upstream/downstream data flows, performing import/export troubleshooting and patching, executing production changes per change-management processes, automating database refreshes, leading incident management for Sev1 issues, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, supporting disaster recovery and business continuity testing, and providing proactive monitoring to reduce runtime and chronic alerts. Requires strong SQL Server/Oracle/Sybase knowledge, experience with data interfaces, scripting/XML, and customer-facing communications;Bachelor-level degree and at least 3+ years in financial services or investment management tech environments are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Financial Engineering, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or related discipline preferred
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant industry experience
- Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server, Oracle, and/or Sybase database configuration and administration
- Familiarity with servers, operating systems, networks, scripting, XML, programming languages, job scheduling, system monitoring, and DR/BC processes
- Financial Services experience in Investment Management, Trading, or related systems (Charles River IMS preferred)
- Excellent customer service, troubleshooting, and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to collaborate across internal teams and external vendors to deliver seamless client service
