Job Summary
Collaborate in clients' homes and communities to deliver personalized care, ensuring Individual Support Plans are implemented and daily activities are coordinated. Participate in support plan meetings, assist with service monitoring visits, and train staff on client medical needs and medication compliance. Oversee daily documentation, health tracking, and the maintenance of a safe, clean living environment while managing household supplies. Work closely with the Program Coordinator to ensure compliance with medical and training requirements. This role requires a high school diploma, one year of experience in intellectual/developmental disabilities, a current driver's license, and successful completion of background checks. Full-time position in Joplin, Missouri, with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- One year of experience in the field of intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Successful completion of training in the Missouri Quality Outcomes approved by the Division of DD regional office
- Current driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Current auto insurance
- Successful completion of a background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check
- Completion of New Hire Orientation and all annual training requirements
