Job Summary
Create lesson plans and deliver engaging, interactive lessons to students in grades 1-5 using varied methods to cater to different learning styles. Monitor and assess student progress, provide feedback to students and parents, and maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and development. Collaborate with colleagues to implement effective teaching strategies, participate in school events and staff meetings, and stay current with educational best practices. Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment while adhering to school policies on grading and attendance. Fluent in English, this role supports student success within our institution's team of educators.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Teaching certification or license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching primary school students
- Strong knowledge of primary school curriculum and teaching methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in technology and using it in the classroom
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
