Job Summary
Assistant Teacher at SPARK Silver Lakes (Temporary). Co-plan and co-teach both in-person and distance learning lessons; lead intervention and acceleration sessions; plan and teach selected lessons for practice and feedback; support assessments and mark tasks; facilitate academic, clubs, and enrichment lessons; implement SPARK curriculum enrichment activities; deliver Project Based Learning, data-driven differentiated instruction, and coding/robotics lessons; assist with marking and data tracking; participate in professional development, mentorship, and instructional coaching; provide administrative support and monitor scholar progress with personalised learning plans; supervise after-school program activities; promote SPARK’s CQ values and inclusive learning environment; collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning and success.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Studying part-time towards a B.Ed. or PGCE in the Intermediate or Senior Phase (3rd or 4th Year)
- Provisional SACE registration
- Police clearance certificate
- Previous experience with primary school-aged children
- Basic computer skills
