Job Summary
Support teacher-directed instruction and 1:1 tutoring as part of a team, supervise structured play, and help implement classroom management and differentiation strategies to meet diverse student needs. Perform clerical tasks, communicate with families, attend key community events, and provide first aid or necessary physical assistance to students. May administer prescribed medication per District procedure and may assist with toileting/diapering as needed. Strong organization, problem-solving, interpersonal and written/spoken communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential. Bilingual Spanish is preferred and contributes to supporting a college-going mission for students.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, required
- Instructional assistant or relevant experience, preferred
- Associate's degree, preferred
- Bilingual Spanish speaker, preferred
