Primary Operator - Level 2 - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Operate and adjust machining equipment to meet quality and performance objectives on the 2nd shift. Perform start-stop procedures, load raw material, adjust tooling/fixtures, and complete records. Visually and dimensionally inspect machined parts against quality standards, maintain safety practices, and clean chips. Detect machine malfunctions and report to supervision; perform preventative machine maintenance and suggest process changes to improve machining operations. Maintain housekeeping and perform secondary/auxiliary operations. Strong math skills and experience with inspection tools (gages, calipers, micrometers, diameter gauges) are valued. Collaborate with product, process, and quality Engineers to ensure proper application of technology and meet internal customer needs. Demonstrates reliability, integrity, flexibility, teamwork, and effective communication.
