Job Summary
Primary Engineer role for IT managed services provider: own client portfolios by maintaining the integrity of their technology environment, build trusted relationships with partner teams, and guide clients in technology success. Emphasizes ownership, initiative, and accountability; requires understanding of IT support, virtualization, disaster recovery, remote monitoring, and clear communication with customers. Candidates should have experience with IT stacks, certifications, and a background in customer service, plus a degree or equivalent work history in IT.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of previous experience with Five Nines stack technology
- 3 years of previous customer service experience
- 3 years of previous customer service experience in a face-to-face environment
- Professional IT Certifications such as Microsoft MCSA or MCSE, Citrix CCEA or CCIA, SonicWall CSSA, Cisco CCNA, or VMware VCP (listed as desired knowledge)
- Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service request details
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment
