Job Summary
Non-exempt Primary Clinical Assistant supporting CAAC physicians' clinics; responsibilities include reviewing and communicating patient schedules with physicians, conducting intake assessments across New/Established/Skin testing workflows, managing clinical triage (Rx, prior authorizations, lab results, and physician communications), interpreting prick skin, intradermal testing, PFT and FeNO tests, ensuring patient has viewed educational resources, verifying patient plans and follow-up appointments, and potentially precepting new CAAC team members. Requires immunization compliance, MA/RMA/CMA/CCMA certification and current BLS; travel with the provider 5 days per week; 1 year of clinical experience or related medical program status; scheduled in Charlotte, NC area (Charlotte and Steele Creek offices).
Required Qualifications
- MA/RMA/CMA/CCMA certification
- Current BLS Certificate
- Travel 100%
- One year clinical experience or recent graduate/current student of a medical program
- Immunizations: hepatitis B and tuberculosis
- Vaccinations: influenza and COVID-19
