Job Summary
Operate and set up CNC machines in a dedicated cell, including mounting/aligning tools, fixtures, and workpieces; monitor machine performance, measure finished parts with precision instruments, and adjust tooling and parameters as needed. Maintain preventive maintenance and follow safety standards; participate in Kaizen events to improve processes. Full-time onsite role in Chambersburg, PA with shift 6am–4pm (Monday–Thursday). Requires HS Diploma or GED and 6–9 months of on-the-job or related vocational training. Starting pay is $23.66/hour, increasing to $26.80/hour after 18 months of training.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED required
- 6 to 9 months on the job training or related vocational training program required
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
- Basic measuring, math, reading and writing skills
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
- Demonstrated computer literacy
- Attention to Detail — careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks
- Ability to follow instructions
- Prior experience with CNC or manufacturing environment preferred (not required)
