Job Summary
Primary Care Sports Medicine opportunity at Kaiser Permanente Elk Grove Promenade in Elk Grove, CA. 1.0 FTE position leading full-scope sports medicine in a multi-specialty Sports Medicine Center, collaborating with physical therapy, and engaging residents/medical students. Requires board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Med/Peds, or PM&R plus completion of an accredited Sports Medicine Fellowship (CAQ preferred). Proficiency in point-of-care musculoskeletal ultrasound is required. No call responsibilities. Also includes relocation assistance such as a moving allowance and access to a Northern California Home Loan Program; part of TPMG with teaching opportunities and robust support.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Med/Peds, or PM&R
- completion of an accredited Sports Medicine Fellowship
- CAQ preferred
- proficiency in point-of-care musculoskeletal ultrasound diagnostics and procedures
- ability to work alongside another Sports Medicine physician and collaborate with physical therapy
- engagement with residents and medical students rotating within department
- opportunity for GME and CME teaching
- no call or Urgent Care responsibilities
