Job Summary
Primary Care Sports Medicine opportunity leading a full-scope sports medicine service within Kaiser Permanente’s Elk Grove Promenade center. Practice in a 1.0 FTE role alongside another Sports Medicine physician with close collaboration with physical therapy; engage with residents and medical students, and participate in GME and CME teaching. Requires board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Med/Peds, or PM&R and completion of an accredited Sports Medicine Fellowship (CAQ preferred). Proficiency in point-of-care musculoskeletal ultrasound is required. No on-call or Urgent Care responsibilities. Opportunities include AI-based charting, excellent practice support, and a comprehensive benefits package; relocation assistance is available. The position is part of TPMG’s Sacramento sports medicine program, with links to a broader sports medicine network. The Sacramento area offers a range of lifestyle and outdoor opportunities and is near San Francisco Bay Area, Napa Valley, Lake Tahoe, and Yosemite.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Med/Peds, or PM&R
