Job Summary
Primary Care Sports Medicine opportunity in Elk Grove, CA at Kaiser Permanente. Lead and practice full-scope sports medicine as part of an independent Sports Medicine Department within a multi-specialty center. Requires board certification in one of the specified specialties and completion of an accredited sports medicine fellowship (CAQ preferred). Proficiency in point-of-care musculoskeletal ultrasound is required. Collaborate with physical therapy and a second sports medicine physician; engage with residents and medical students; opportunities for GME and CME teaching. No on-call or Urgent Care responsibilities. Strong emphasis on AI-assisted charting, flexible scheduling, and a physician-led culture with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Med/Peds, or PM&R
- Completion of an accredited Sports Medicine Fellowship (CAQ preferred)
- Proficiency in point of care musculoskeletal ultrasound diagnostics and procedures
