Job Summary
Lead the strategic planning and operational performance of the primary care service line, managing clinical pathways, volumes, and patient satisfaction metrics alongside 50% clinical practice. Establish governance structures with regional medical directors, oversee annual budgeting and financial models, and drive faculty recruitment and program development. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while implementing quality assurance policies and risk minimization efforts. Partner with the Executive Director to set strategic direction, develop new clinical services, and maintain close working relationships with corporate compliance and faculty leaders.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics
- Current, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) in Illinois
- Minimum 8 years progressive experience in a health system or academic medical center
- Minimum 2 years of people management experience
Desired Qualifications
- Significant exposure to service lines across inpatient/outpatient settings preferred
