Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive preventive medicine, neurology, infectious disease, lab, and audiology services for over 80,000 Veterans in the Inland Empire. Advise and clinically supervise mid-level practitioners while assessing veterans using advanced clinical judgment to diagnose acute, non-acute, and chronic health problems. Deliver quality patient-centered care to outpatients aged 65+ by integrating services with social work, prosthetics, and home-based health care. Participate in Medical Center committees, Continuous Quality Improvement teams, and grading sessions for medical students. Maintain timely CPRS documentation and complete mandatory annual education to identify professional learning needs. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a state territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia
- Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Residency Training
Desired Qualifications
- board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
- 5 years of experience
