Primary Care Physicians

Primary Care Physician role providing comprehensive care to veterans at the VA Loma Linda Health Care System in Hemet, CA. Duties include supervising mid-level staff (nurse practitioners and physician assistants) and medical students/residents, active participation in Medical Center committees, involvement in CQI and professional development programs, and delivering quality patient-centered care to adults and older adults (65+). The role also requires integration with social work, prosthetics, home-based health care, and nursing homes; timely CPRS documentation; creation of realistic health education and treatment goals with patients and families; and collaboration with interprofessional teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
