Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including preventive services, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment. Conduct in-office procedures such as joint injections, skin biopsies, cryotherapy, laceration repair, incision and drainage, and women's health services like Pap smears. Educate and counsel patients on health promotion, medication management, and lifestyle modification to empower informed decision-making. Build long-term relationships through consistent communication and extended appointment times while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of pharmacists, dietitians, and care coordinators. Document all clinical encounters accurately in the electronic health record and participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and team development activities. Support practice growth through community outreach and organizational initiatives within a direct-pay, value-based care model.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification in Family Medicine or Combined Internal Medicine & Pediatrics
- Active and unrestricted medical license in state of health center location (or eligibility to obtain)
- Current DEA certification in good standing
- Experience with in-office procedures
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred at least 2 years of experience in primary care
- New resident graduates with strong knowledge base considered
