Primary Care Physician - VA Healthcare | Littleton NH & Newport VT

Evaluate and treat acute and chronic health problems for scheduled and unscheduled patients in clinic settings, coordinating care for assigned outpatient panels. Perform histories, physical exams, and office procedures while prescribing medications and ordering laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic tests with initial interpretation. Screen patients for hospitalization needs, provide patient education, administer immunizations, and utilize virtual care modalities including telemedicine and secure messaging. Function as managing physician for nurse practitioners and physician assistants, and serve as a preceptor for residents. Ensure all patient encounters are properly documented and closed out with clear disposition plans and medication lists. Comply with VA bylaws, protect sensitive data in accordance with the Privacy Act, and communicate clinical findings via the Computerized Patient Record System. Work 8:00 am to 4:30 pm M-F in Littleton, NH and Newport, VT.
