Job Summary
Manage a patient panel with diverse needs by conducting acute, chronic, and well visits in-office, at testing centers, and via occasional telehealth. Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues while utilizing clinical training to perform in-office procedures. Engage in weekly Clinical Rounds and daily huddles with virtual teams to ensure continuous learning and collaboration. Obtain additional state licensure for expanded virtual primary care services. This full-time role at One Medical's Transbay Center in San Francisco requires a board-certified or eligible Internal or Family Medicine physician with recent outpatient experience.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting
- Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date
- State licensed in California, obtained before your One Medical start date
- Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states
- The ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds
- The ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- The ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues
- Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet the needs of our patients
