Job Summary
Provide comprehensive patient care, including preventive education, diagnosis, treatment planning, prescribing medications, and ordering diagnostic tests while exercising independent medical judgment. Assess patient needs to determine appropriate referrals, manage long-term cases, and document all clinical services accurately to ensure regulatory compliance. Collaborate with the Medical Director and interdisciplinary teams to support care coordination and problem resolution, while overseeing assigned advanced practice providers and nursing staff. Maintain flexibility in managing workload priorities and adapting to changing operational needs within a patient-centered environment.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible by the American Board Family Medicine or American Board of Internal Medicine
- Eligible for medical license in South Carolina
- Current DEA and DPS Certification of Registration
- Current CPR certificate
- Minimum two years of direct work or intern experience
- Familiar with variety of the field's concepts, practices, and diagnostic procedures
