Job Summary
Diagnose and treat medical conditions while providing preventive care, health maintenance services, and patient education. Conduct health risk assessments, manage acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions, and evaluate the urgency of concerns to direct patients to appropriate care levels. Coordinate care with specialists and multidisciplinary team members, participate in shared decision-making, and supervise medical students and residents during clinical rotations. Maintain accurate medical documentation, comply with HIPAA and regulatory requirements, and engage in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. Base salary begins at $278,266/year with productivity incentives.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related primary care specialty
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Hawaiʻi
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Membership in good standing with The Queen's Medical Center Medical Staff with appropriate privileges throughout employment
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
