Job Summary
Primary Care Physician for IU Health Primary Care-Portland (Portland, IN) — full-time outpatient clinic within a rural community, affiliated with IU Health Jay Hospital. Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, with opportunities to perform screening colonoscopies and minor office procedures (e.g., lacerations, wart removal, I&D, wedge resections). Establish and manage your own patient panel, participate in population-health initiatives, and contribute to after-hours care supported by a nurse triage system. Ideal candidate will be MD or DO with board eligibility/certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, with a passion for rural health, teaching/mentoring residents, and delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in partnership with a large health system.
