Job Summary
Diagnose and treat medical conditions, provide preventive care, and manage acute and chronic illnesses within a multidisciplinary team. Conduct health risk assessments, coordinate care with specialists, and participate in shared decision-making regarding treatment plans. Maintain accurate medical documentation, comply with regulatory requirements, and supervise medical students and residents during clinical rotations. This role supports population health initiatives, quality improvement activities, and culturally sensitive care delivery across Queen's Primary Care Health Centers. Physicians must hold an MD or DO degree, be board certified or eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, and possess unrestricted licensure in Hawaiʻi. Base salary begins at $278,266/year.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related primary care specialty
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Hawaiʻi
- DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Membership in good standing with The Queen's Medical Center Medical Staff with appropriate privileges throughout employment
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
