Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive preventive healthcare, acute and sick care, and annual physicals to patients in a family-centered clinic. Manage acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma while performing routine screening and diagnostic testing. Provide women's health services and immunizations, applying high-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning to diagnose clinical issues. This role is available full-time Monday through Friday or part-time on a 2-3 day rotation, with competitive salary and benefits. Located in Mebane, NC, the position joins a physician-led organization within UNC Health Medical Group dedicated to improving community health across North Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Strong interest in caring for medically complex adult patients
- Demonstrated experience and interest in addressing mental health needs within a primary care setting
- Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
- DEA
- ACLS
- MD/DO
- High-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills
- Ability to communicate proficiently in English
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- BLS/ACLS certification preferred
- Board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
