Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive preventive healthcare, acute and sick care, and annual physicals to patients in a family-centered clinic setting. Manage acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma while performing routine screening, diagnostic testing, and immunizations. Provide women's health services and address mental health needs within the primary care environment. Maintain high-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills to diagnose clinical issues effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Strong interest in caring for medically complex adult patients
- Demonstrated experience and interest in addressing mental health needs within a primary care setting
- Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
- DEA
- ACLS
- MD/DO
- High-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills
- Ability to communicate proficiently in English
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- BLS/ACLS certification preferred
- Board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
