Job Summary
Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) sought for UNC Health Medical Group at Graham, NC. The physician will join a brand-new, state-of-the-art primary care facility to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities include comprehensive preventive care, acute and sick care, annual physicals and wellness visits, immunizations, women's health services, and management of acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma. The role emphasizes addressing mental health needs within primary care and requires an active North Carolina medical license (or eligibility), board certification/eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, and an MD or DO degree. Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Strong interest in caring for medically complex adult patients
- Demonstrated experience and interest in addressing mental health needs within a primary care setting
- Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
- Board certified in area of specialty; License in healthcare specialty
- DEA; ACLS; BCLS; MD/DO
- North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in area of specialty
