Job Summary
Primary Care Physician to join UNC Health Primary Care at Graham in a brand-new facility. Role involves providing comprehensive preventive healthcare, acute and sick care, annual physicals and wellness visits, immunizations, women’s health services, and management of acute/chronic conditions (including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma). Ideal candidate is Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, holds an active North Carolina medical license (or eligibility), and has a strong interest in addressing mental health needs within primary care. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with on-site work in Graham, NC, near RTP; part of UNC Health Medical Group with competitive salary and incentive opportunities. Experience in delivering patient-centered care in a physician-led system and collaboration within a large health network is valued.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Strong interest in caring for medically complex adult patients
- Demonstrated experience and interest in addressing mental health needs within a primary care setting
- Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
- License in healthcare specialty
- DEA;ACLS;BCLS;MD/DO
- Board certified in area of specialty
