Primary Care Physician (MD/DO)

Job Summary
Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management, while performing complete patient evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans. Promote health education and wellness to improve long-term outcomes, coordinate care with specialists and interdisciplinary teams, and maintain accurate medical documentation within the electronic medical record. Review laboratory and diagnostic results to communicate findings with patients, and participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical meetings, and value-based care programs. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and organizational clinical standards while fostering strong patient relationships through compassionate communication. Requires an MD or DO with an active Florida license, Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, and at least one year of clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active, unrestricted Florida medical license
- Current DEA registration with Schedule II-V authority
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience in adult, family medicine, primary care, or geriatric practice
- Current BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience caring for Medicare Advantage populations
- Knowledge of HEDIS quality measures and Risk Adjustment (HCC) documentation
- Experience using electronic medical records (EMR)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole)
