Job Summary

Provide medical assessments and evaluations, treat emergent, urgent, and routine medical issues, and supervise treatment for chronic conditions in a correctional setting. Participate in organizational initiatives to prevent diseases and injuries among incarcerated individuals while working under the direction of the Site and Statewide Medical Directors. Collaborate with the Health Services Administrator to ensure clinically appropriate services are delivered efficiently. This role offers a leadership opportunity within Centurion's partnership with the Georgia Department of Corrections to shape care delivery for an underserved population.

Required Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
  • Active and unrestricted Ga state license or the ability to obtain one
  • Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
  • Ability to pass credentialing and background check
