Job Summary
Perform physical assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of patients while prescribing medications as clinically indicated. Order referrals for medical evaluations, follow up on laboratory tests, and provide medical training to staff. Collaborate with Community Treatment Team members, nurses, caseworkers, and foster parents to coordinate care for diverse populations, including children and youth. Maintain current knowledge of physical medicine standards, recognize behavioral indicators of child abuse, and report as indicated. Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and complete required documentation including informed consent.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Medicine (MD or DO)
- Active and Unrestricted Ohio Medical License
- Ability to Make Effective Oral Presentations and Maintain Accurate Records
- Knowledge of Federal and State Laws Regarding Client Confidentiality
- Ability to Work Independently and Exercise Sound Clinical Judgment
