Job Summary
Primary Care Physicians trained in Internal Medicine to join UPMC Community Medicine's network across Southwestern Pennsylvania. Roles include internal medicine opportunities in Bethel Park, Edgewood, Gibsonia, Hermitage, Sewickley, and Bellevue. Provides base salary with potential incentives via Value Incentive Plan and APP Utilization Plan; comprehensive benefits starting day one including medical/dental/vision, FSA/HSA, disability insurance, life insurance/AD&D, CME allowance, and generous PTO. Full-time schedule comprises 36 hours of patient-facing clinical time Monday–Friday plus 4 hours of administrative time weekly. Practice support includes easy referrals to social work, behavioral health, nutritionists, and in-practice diabetic retinal exams; strong collaboration with administrative team. Requirements include MD/DO, completed Internal Medicine residency, board certification or eligibility, PA state medical license, and DEA certification. UPMC is a large, multi-site healthcare system with extensive resources and community impact.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD/DO)
- Accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program completion
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine (or board eligible for residency new graduates)
- Unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License
- DEA certification
