Job Summary
Provide comprehensive primary care services, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and preventive care. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, respiratory infections, and other common illnesses. Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests and laboratory results. Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans. Educate patients and families on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options. Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals within the multi-specialty practice. Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in electronic medical records. Provide compassionate and patient-centered care to a diverse patient population. This part-time role requires 2–3 weekdays per week and offers excellent work-life balance.
Required Qualifications
- MD from an accredited medical school
- Active New York State medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical judgment
- Empathy
- Patient-centered focus
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-specialty team
