Job Summary
Conduct 36 hours of patient-facing primary care daily in a single-site outpatient practice, supplemented by four hours of administrative time. Manage light call schedules taken from home with no inpatient responsibilities. Coordinate easy referrals to social work, behavioral health, nutritionists, and UPMC specialists while administrative professionals handle practice operations. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care within a non-profit health system environment.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD/DO)
- Accredited Family Medicine Residency Program Completion
- Board-certified in Family Medicine (or board-eligible for residency new graduates)
- Unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License (or ability to obtain)
- DEA Certification
- A commitment to patient-centered care and excellent interpersonal skills
