Job Summary
Primary Care Physician role based in Austin, TX at One Medical. Responsibilities include managing a patient panel with acute, chronic, and well visits, treating patients in-office or at testing centers with occasional tele-health visits, participating in weekly clinical rounds, collaborating with in-office and virtual teams, performing in-office procedures as appropriate, and supervising one or more NP or PA colleagues. The candidate should demonstrate human-centered primary care, effective use of technology in care delivery, and a collaborative approach to patient care. Requires completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency, 2+ years in outpatient primary care (in the last 5 years), Board Certified or Board Eligible with plans to obtain certification within 1 year, and Texas state licensure prior to start; willingness to obtain licensure for additional states and credentialing for virtual care.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Family Medicine residency program
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting
- Board Certified in Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of start date
- State licensed in Texas, obtained before start date
- Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for virtual primary care in additional states
