Job Summary
Primary Care Physician sought for outpatient clinics across Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, and Suffolk. Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Deliver patient-centered care with responsibilities including comprehensive health assessments, diagnosing and treating acute/chronic illnesses, preventive care planning, ordering/interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescribing medications per guidelines, providing adult/geriatric (and pediatrics if capable) care, coordinating care transitions, and facilitating referrals within the Bayview Physicians Group. Approximately 20 patients per day, collaboration with other physicians and APPs, EMR platform is eClinicalWorks. Required Qualifications
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- MD or DO degree
- Virginia medical license or eligibility
- physician credentialing
- outpatient primary care experience (preferred)
- ability to work collaboratively with APPs
