Job Summary
Primary Care Physician role based in Jersey City, NJ. Manage a patient panel with acute, chronic, and well visits; conduct in-office or testing-center visits as well as occasional tele-health visits; participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and collaborate with in-office and virtual clinical teams; perform in-office procedures as appropriate; supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues; and obtain additional state licensure/credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states. This full-time position includes a comprehensive benefits package and a compensation range of $258,500 to $274,700 per year, with potential performance-based incentives. Requires completion of an Internal or Family Medicine residency, outpatient clinical experience, board certification or eligibility, and active state licensure in New Jersey, with willingness to credential for virtual care in other states. The role is based in Jersey City, NJ, and supports a modern, human-centered primary care delivery model with emphasis on high-quality patient care and team collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of start date
- State licensed in New Jersey, obtained before start date
- Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for virtual primary care in additional states
- Experience in outpatient primary care setting (2 of the last 5 years)
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patients and colleagues
- Openness to feedback and ongoing professional development
- Capability to supervise NP or PA colleagues
