PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN

The Primary Care Physician (PCP) is responsible for providing clinical expertise regarding the primary care medical needs of Care Resource patients. Key responsibilities include providing direct patient care, documenting interactions in the EHR, managing laboratory results and prescription refills, reviewing Specialist referrals, and conducting quality assurance assessments. The PCP promotes the agency's ancillary services and participates in case staffing and health center developmental activities. The role requires physical activity, including sitting, talking, and walking, often in medical settings.
