Job Summary
Primary Care Paramedic role with Medavie Health Services West across Saskatchewan communities. Responsibilities include independent advance clinical care, safe transportation of individuals (emergency and non-emergency), inter-facility transfers, ambulance and equipment maintenance, and adherence to NOCP-based clinical expectations and Medavie West policies. Ideal candidates are registered PCPs with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics, hold Saskatchewan Class 4 Driver's License (or equivalent), ITLS and CPR C certification for Health Care Providers, a current clean criminal record and vulnerable sector check, and a current driver’s abstract. The role requires teamwork, flexibility across shifts, strict confidentiality, and a professional demeanor. Required Qualifications
- Must be a registered PCP with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics
- Must submit with resume a copy (front and back) of a valid Saskatchewan Class 4 Driver's License (or equivalent)
- Must submit with resume ITLS and CPR C certification for Health Care Providers
- Must submit with resume a current (within last 60 days) valid and clean criminal record check along with a vulnerable sector check
- Must submit with resume a current (within last 30 days) driver’s abstract
- Must demonstrate ability to work efficiently as a member of the team
- Must be able to work all shifts as assigned
- Must have a high regard for confidentiality
- Must have excellent work habits and exhibit professionalism
