Job Summary
Conduct outpatient primary care for veterans with a focus on chronic disease management, diabetes, hypertension, and geriatric care. Manage patient panels independently within a team-based PACT model supported by RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and administrative staff. Collaborate with integrated mental health and pharmacy teams using the CPRS EMR. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with optional 4-day week flexibility, excluding nights, weekends, and federal holidays. Join a respected VA clinic in Alamogordo offering a base salary of $130,000–$160,000, 31 days PTO, and comprehensive benefits including malpractice coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
- Minimum of 2 years outpatient primary care experience
- Strong background in chronic disease management
- Comfortable practicing independently
