Job Summary
Primary Care Nurse Practitioner needed for four days a week at Valor Healthcare's Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Columbia, TN. Provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care to veterans under physician supervision, collaborates with the core PACT Team (NP/CRNP, RN, Medical Assistant) and expanded PACT Team to develop patient care plans, and maintains compliance with VA guidelines. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating veterans, developing patient management plans, ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests, counseling on medications, ensuring timely clinical documentation, supporting patient enrollment and outreach initiatives, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Requires MSN, NP certification, VA credentialing readiness, BLS/ACLS, DEA registration, English proficiency, strong computer skills, and a patient-focused service mindset. This is a safety-sensitive, weekday clinical role with compensation determined by experience and internal equity.
Required Qualifications
- MSN required
- Nurse Practitioner certification
- Current DEA registration
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum one-year clinical experience (three years preferred) as a CRNP within the last 4 years in a related primary care or ambulatory care setting; government healthcare environment preferred
- Must be credentialed and remain in good standing through the VA
- Unrestricted license in the state of desired employment (or as required by VA contract)
