Job Summary
Primary Care Medical Assistant role supporting physicians and APPs in a women-focused primary care clinic. Responsibilities include rooming patients, scheduling follow-up visits, assisting with patient portal setup, reviewing and completing forms and billing requests, maintaining patient confidentiality, performing venipuncture/phlebotomy, data entry in EMR, updating medication lists and preparing refills, recording vitals, preparing exam rooms and assisting with exams and procedures, disinfecting rooms, handling patient check-ins and communications, supporting chronic disease management and population health initiatives, administering IM injections, transmitting refills, and collaborating with providers. Core skills include concierge-level customer service, professionalism, strong interpersonal and communication abilities, high organization and attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative healthcare environment.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Certification program is required
- Training in phlebotomy is required
- US Citizenship or Eligibility to Work in the US with a permanent resident card
