Primary Care - Medical Assistant (Float Pool)

Primary Care Medical Assistant in a float pool providing patient-centered, efficient care under the primary care operations team. You will collaborate with patients, providers, and the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes in an outpatient/ambulatory setting. Responsibilities include Advanced Standard Rooming with high performance on encounter/documentation tasks, thorough medication reconciliation, closing care gaps (e.g., screenings and assessments), and ensuring accurate documentation within the EHR. Must maintain MA certification, complete required MA competencies, and comply with Mercy Service Standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, knowledge of outpatient procedures/equipment, and commitment to professional growth are essential. PPE will be provided; position requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and frequent patient interaction in an outpatient clinic at Mercy in Fort Smith, AR.
