Job Summary
Conduct full-scope ambulatory primary care with 4-5 weeks per year dedicated to inpatient care. Serve as a role model, mentor, and advisor to residents while participating in their selection, orientation, and evaluation. Prepare and deliver structured educational activities and lead resident scholarship efforts with a goal of one project annually. Collaborate with the Program Director and Associate Program Director to implement policies regarding resident clinical and educational work hours. Maintain unrestricted South Carolina licensure and federal/state substance registration. Split time between educational, administrative, and clinical duties to support the growing Family Medicine Residency Program and rural healthcare access.
Required Qualifications
- BC/BE in Family Medicine
- Unrestricted SC licensure
- Federal and state-controlled substance registration
- Demonstrated interest in the education of residents
- Compassion, professionalism, and dedication to lifelong learning
- Collaborative and collegial demeanor with commitment to high quality patient care
Desired Qualifications
- preferably practicing the full scope of ambulatory primary care medicine
