Primary Care Lead Physician-Outpatient

Job Summary
Lead Physician in Berkshire Health Systems' outpatient primary care, mentoring a team of physicians, NPs, and clinical staff to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. Provide comprehensive, whole-person primary care, develop and uphold clinical guidelines, and collaborate with administrative leadership and specialists to improve workflows and patient experiences. Stay current with medical advances, promote staff education and clinician training, and lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care, safety, and outcomes. This role combines leadership with hands-on clinical responsibilities in a patient-centered, collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related primary care specialty
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a primary care setting; prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with patients, team members, and leadership
- Deep commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and foster collaboration and continuous improvement
