Job Summary
Lead Physician in an outpatient primary care setting responsible for mentoring a diverse team of clinicians and staff, delivering high-quality, evidence-based care, and driving care-standard development and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with administrative leadership and specialists to optimize workflows, guide staff education and clinician training, and shape patient-centered care across the practice. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and the ongoing advancement of care quality and safety within Berkshire Health Systems.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related primary care specialty
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a primary care setting; leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Deep commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and foster collaboration and continuous improvement
