Job Summary
Develop and implement continuing medical education programs while supervising, educating, and evaluating internal medicine residents. Manage acute and chronic conditions for a diverse adult patient population in a fully outpatient setting, utilizing a state-of-the-art, system-wide integrated electronic health record. Partner with skilled multidisciplinary staff to promote wellness across an entire panel of patients. This role offers minimal on-call obligations with shared off-hour coverage via phone calls and nurse triage, designed to maintain a balanced lifestyle. You will work within a high-performing team at Northwell Health, a leader in cardiac services and cancer care, supported by innovative systems including AI scribing tools to enhance documentation accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with NY State License and Federal DEA
- Have successfully completed Internal Medicine and be Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Off-hour coverage - Shared among multiple providers, phone-calls only, with nurse triage
